A turbid water flowmeter is a type of electromagnetic flowmeter, referred to here as a turbid water flowmeter in order to match the measuring medium. Using Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, the flow rate of turbid water and liquid in the pipeline is measured, and instantaneous and cumulative flow rates are displayed on site. At the same time, it is converted into a 4-20mA standard signal by a converter and transmitted to DCS, PLC and other systems for control and regulation.
The turbid water flowmeter overcomes the characteristics of turbid water. Generally, turbid water has sediment, which will attach to the pipeline. The Ouwei instrument adopts a unique design of four electrodes, which solves the problem of unstable flow and inability to measure caused by turbid water sediment.
